The legal entity name appears throughout this document for that reason.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bulk Business Card Scanner, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Bulk Business Card Scanner provides the following services:

  • Contact, company, and event management
  • AI-powered business card scanning via third-party providers
  • Digital business card creation and QR code generation
  • Contact export (vCard and CSV formats)
  • Subscription-based access via third-party payment processing

3. User Accounts

We use passwordless authentication via magic links sent to your email. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining secure access to your email account
  • Not sharing magic link URLs with others
  • All activities that occur under your account

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Use the service lawfully and ethically
  • Not scan confidential or sensitive information
  • Respect others' privacy and data

5. AI Business Card Processing - IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS

CRITICAL TERMS:

When you use our AI business card scanning feature:

  • NO PRIVACY GUARANTEE: We send your images to third-party AI providers. We cannot and do not guarantee the privacy or security of any data you submit.
  • YOUR RESPONSIBILITY: You are solely responsible for determining whether it is appropriate to scan any particular business card.
  • ASSUMPTION OF RISK: You assume all risks associated with sending data to third-party AI services.
  • NO LIABILITY: We are not liable for any disclosure, use, or misuse of your data by AI service providers.

6. Affiliate Referral Discount

If you signed up using an affiliate's referral link (for example a URL containing ?ref=CODE), you may be eligible for a 20 percent discount on your subscription. The discount is applied automatically at checkout when you make your first paid purchase.

  • Lifetime duration. The discount applies for the entire lifetime of your subscription, not just the first billing cycle. As long as your subscription remains continuously active, every billing period reflects the 20 percent reduction. This is an intentional design choice — we want the customer who signed up through a referral to keep benefiting from that path.
  • Cancellation does not retrigger. If you cancel your subscription and later sign up again under the same account, the discount does NOT reapply. The discount is one-per-customer-lifetime, and the redemption timestamp is set when the original discounted purchase commits.
  • No stacking. The referral discount cannot be combined with other promotional offers, coupons, or trial credits. If multiple discounts are available, the referral discount takes precedence.
  • Grandfather rule. If we change the program — discount rate, eligibility rules — or if we terminate the affiliate program entirely, your existing discount remains in effect. The discount is bound to your subscription, not to the affiliate who referred you or to the program's current state.

Self-referral is not permitted. The system blocks it at checkout if it detects that the referrer and the buyer are the same account. Attempts to game the discount through synthetic referrals may result in revocation of the discount and termination of the account per Section 8.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) $119.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Tennessee, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

For any dispute:

  1. First Step: Contact our support team . Most issues can be resolved through good faith discussion.
  2. Small Claims: For disputes under $5,000, either party may use small claims court in Tennessee, USA.
  3. Larger Disputes: For disputes over $5,000, parties agree to attempt mediation in Tennessee, USA before proceeding to court.

Our total liability to you cannot exceed the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months (maximum $119).
